Pastor Bodie began serving as Senior Pastor of Callahan Methodist Church in 2022. Alongside his wife Robin, he is committed to leading a church that is grounded in Scripture, serious about discipleship, and actively engaged in the community.

Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, and raised in a military family, Bodie later served in the United States Navy. In June of 1978, he experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that set the course for his calling. After years of lay leadership and a successful career in the marketplace, he answered God’s call to pastoral ministry, pursuing theological training and serving rural churches in western Pennsylvania before returning to Florida.

Pastor Bodie believes the church should be both mission-driven and deeply relational — a place where truth is taught clearly, grace is lived authentically, and people are challenged to grow in daily obedience to Christ. He has a particular heart for those who may feel unchurched, under-churched, or wounded by past church experiences.

Robin actively serves through hospitality, teaching, and mentoring relationships within the church. Together they share a blended family of eight children and seventeen grandchildren. They consider the Callahan congregation an extension of their family and are honored to serve this community.

Pastor Bodie’s vision is simple: not merely attendance, but transformation — helping people grow, serve, and flourish in Christ.
